New Cover for Book One! Update on Book Two!

Hello! Long time no see!

So, I’m proud to say that we’ve had a very successful run with book one so far. However, as I started to work on book two, I frequently checked our marketing and advertising and I came to the conclusion that we needed an upgrade. Our cover for book one wasn’t bad, but it was quite literally the product of saying we were going to publish within twenty-four hours and then doing so.

It was rushed, it wasn’t genre savvy, and it wasn’t necessarily our best work. However, it did its job: we published within twenty-four hours of deciding we were publishing.

However, as a team, we all thought we could do better than that. So, for the past few months we’ve been working on putting out a new cover, and this week we finally did so.

I’ve already updated the kindle version and hope to finish formatting the paperback version. Instead of just replacing the cover, Savanah and I have decided to reformat the book into a more functional size. We’ll also be able to go back in and make sure none of the artwork gets squished or misprinted. This will give our paperback readers a much better product for their money.

Once that happens, I’m excited to announce that I’m going to be offering signed copies of the new paperback version from my website. Now that you’re hyped by the new cover, let’s move onto the even MORE exciting news: Volume Two: Descending into the Past, Part One is on the way!

For those of you waiting to see more of Cecily and Frost’s adventures, you won’t be waiting much longer! Our favorite pair of Double Trouble miscreants will be back in action shortly, decoding magical secrets and stepping onto the path to greatness as they explore the exciting world of Xevania.

Book Two’s release is tentatively set for the end of summer, likely July or August. We’re still working on cover creation for it, so we won’t be opening up a pre-order until that’s finished. However, I will be releasing several free chapters of extra content beforehand, so make sure to check back frequently. These free chapters will contain new content that won’t be featured in the books. For now, here’s a bit of art for a sneak peek into chapter one!
